Protests have erupted all across China over President Xi Jinping’s zero-tolerance COVID-19 policies, with some videos emerging that show citizens are so outraged at the forced lockdowns that they’re even demanding the resignation of the communist leader.
Take note, America. From the mouths of America’s own lockdown-loving elites — a warning: As China is, so could the United States go.
From Dr. Anthony Fauci, during goodbye remarks as head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, this reflection on the refusal of some to take the COVID-19 shots: “As a physician, it pains me because I don’t want to see anybody get infected, I don’t want to see anybody hospitalized and I don’t want to see anybody die from COVID,” he said a few days ago, CNBC reported.
That, even as data compiled by The New York Times shows that of 98.3 million COVID-19 cases in the United States, 1.09 million have resulted to date in death — or 1.1%. Even if all those deaths were deaths due to COVID, rather than deaths due to other health factors in people who also tested positive for COVID, it’s not as if 1.1% was a shattering figure. It’s not as if 1.1% justifies the forcing of children to take the shots, the mandates of adults to get the shots.
Not when studies like this one from Ontario, Canada, find the “evidence gathered to date supports an association between mRNA COVID-19 vaccination and myocarditis and pericarditis; the risk appears highest for adolescent and young adult male individuals following dose 2,” JAMA Network wrote in June.
Not when stories like this appear, from the Herald Sun just this month, that say, “Pfizer chief executive Albert Bourla has been reprimanded by a pharmaceutical watchdog for making ‘misleading’ statements about children’s Covid vaccines” and claiming that “the virus was ‘thriving’ in schools and ‘there is no doubt in my mind that the benefits, completely, are in favor of’ giving five-year-olds the vaccine.”
It’s been a total whitewash on truth.
It’s been a total blackout on dissenting views, opinions, even data.
This is all to say individual choice on medical treatments should always, always, always and forever, be the order of the day. In America, the fear of the virus quickly turned to the development of vaccines — or emergency vaccines that didn’t have to go through the normal years-long testing process. Under Democrats, these vaccines became mandates. Under Democrats, these shots became the rallying call to continue lockdowns; to target certain populations for lockdowns; to separate society by the vaccinated versus unvaccinated and call out the latter as dangers to society.
It’s not as if America is immune from China-like lockdowns. It’s not as if America has learned the lessons of a needlessly shaken economy, or of a needlessly destroyed school experience, or of a needlessly injected military force. It’s not as if Americans aren’t still driving down the road, by themselves, face masks in place.
It won’t take much fear to ignite a protest movement such as the world’s witnessing in China right now.
“Fauci says U.S. will not see a repeat of last winter’s COVID wave — but surging infections in China have experts fearing it has ‘passed the point of no return’ without hard lockdowns,” Fortune reported in late November.
Here comes the fear. All dressed in health.
The elites are still looking to capitalize on their Great Reset visions for the world, the ones where a few select control the movements and activities and behaviors and economies and freedoms of the masses.
From Bill Gates, the guy who cozied with China during the height of COVID-19 madness, a hint of what’s to come: “Since the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have centered our work in China around responding to the virus. … We are working with a wide range of partners in the Chinese government and health care system as well as private companies at the cutting edge of pharmaceutical and medical innovation to address the pandemic,” the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation posted.
Working with China?
Working with the communist regime?
Working with the communists who unleashed the coronavirus on a non-suspecting world?
“Bill Gates says Covid risks have ‘dramatically reduced’ but another pandemic is coming,” CNBC wrote in February.
He stands ready with the solutions.
His words: “If every country does what Australia did, then you wouldn’t be calling [the next outbreak] a pandemic,” Gates said at the annual Munich Security Conference in February. That is to say: the country completely stopped. It completely locked down. It completely seized the liberties of its citizens, using fear of the spreading virus as justification.
Gates wants that — only more.
As CNBC wrote: “Keeping a new outbreak from becoming a pandemic would almost certainly prevent many of the global consequences caused by Covid-19. But, Gates notes, it’ll likely require much stricter policies in a future outbreak’s early days than how most of the world enacted against Covid. And countries will need to maintain those policies for a sustained period of time, even potentially against public pressure.”
Remember: Thousands protested in the streets in Australia against the draconian government-enforced COVID-19-tied lockdowns. But the lockdowns went forth anyway.
Americans may fight harder than the Australians did. Americans may protest with more vigor than the Chinese citizens currently are. But dismissing that a second lockdown is coming in America would be folly.
With so many in today’s political leadership on the side of the communist Chinese, in agreement with the Fauci-like and Gates-type elites, it’s only a matter of time before the next virus, the next health scare, prompts the calls for another lockdown.
The bureaucrats won’t let the coronavirus crisis go. The question for Americans will be whether fear or freedom prevails.
